Take the A500 from Shavington towards Stoke, then follow signs for Ashbourne (A52). At Ashbourne, follow signs for Derby (A38). When you reach the roundabout with the A38, take the 1st exit and travel for about 2¾ miles to Little Eaton roundabout. Take the 2nd exit onto Alfreton Road B6179. Go through the village and after about ½ mile past the public house turn right into Morley Lane. Go under the A38 and over the hill where there's a concrete reservoir on the left. Turn up the drive to the reservoir and then follow the track to the right.
