Directions to Queen Charlotte's Wood, Frodsham

Grid reference: SJ 514744. This grid reference is on OS Explorer Map No 267, on OS Landranger Map No 117 and on the obsolete OS Pathfinder map 757.

Take the A51 out of Nantwich towards Chester. Straight on the The Red Fox at Tarporley - the road becomes the A49. At the next roundabout, go left on to the A51, through Clotton and Duddon towards Tarvin. At the A51/A54 roundabout at Tarvin, take the A54 towards Manchester. After ¾ mile turn left on to the B5393 Ashton Lane, signposted Frodsham, Ashley and Mouldsworth. Follow the B5393 through Ashton Hayes, past Mouldsworth station and then through Manley. Follow the road where it takes a sharp left turn. After ¾ mile turn right into Manley Road, signposted Newton and Kingsley. After ¾ mile turn at the cross-roads into Commonside. After 200 yds turn right into The Ridgeway. The campsite entrance is on the left after about ¼ mile.

Journey time: 35-40 minutes from Shavington/Nantwich.
